Medical Characters, Environments and Assets

Just a small update of some of the objects I have been working on for a game we are doing at work.
Characters, assets and environments!

Lighting in game environments were done by Matt Fedorovich.

Solidworks 2013 .... Metal Art CAD

Here are some renders of some of the work I did for a client who does metal art welding.
I created the plate CAD cuts in Solidworks 2013, where they are then taken to a metal fabricator and are cut out and then the welder will weld them to look like the images below. He does some pretty great work!

You can check out his work at http://www.ewometalart.com/.

I hope to have more work from this client to show in the future and of course I will post the updates here!

Cauldron Bubbles - Stylized Organic Trees

Yesterday and today I have been working on some stylized trees that will be used mostly in the opening shot. I am working to make them very organic and somewhat natural looking, but also disproportioned and stylized.

Here are just a few screen shots of the proxy, proxy smoothed, and my tree.

I am still working on this, but wanted to post an update since the Super Bowl is this afternoon, and I probably won't get much done later. :)

Also, the tree on the far left is my tree with about 515 faces at the moment.

Don't Lose track----------->

This post is to help me keep track of projects that I still need to finish and to show what I have completed so far.

First up... Shrek....!  Those of you who know me, know I love Shrek. I even have a tattoo of Shrek and the Gang! But well I have only modeled his head and body but still working on the arms and hands, but as you can see its not looking to shabby.

Second is a demon that was concepted by Edward Taylor. He has an amazing talent and there are so many models I want to make from his art, but well as of right now I had to choose one! So I chose the Naberious Demon as my final project last semester. I know I didn't finish it, but it takes a tremendous amount of time to do these things, but I will finish it. I am very happy with the way it is looking at the moment. I just need to work more on his legs and face but not to bad!

Let me know what you guys think!

Cauldron Bubbles

This is an animated short that was written and designed by Edward Taylor. He is my fellow class mate at UT Dallas and we are both finishing up our Masters in Art and Technology. On this project I am going to be modeling the cottage and doing the special FX, which I hope to use Houdini. I will also be using Photoshop, Maya, and After Effects.

So far I have built the Cottage and bellow is a screen shot.

Please feel free to share your thoughts about this.

Thanks
Bryan
